how far should the ball be?

i started to notice i was hitting the toe of my ap1 irons and moved closer to the ball..... as soon as i did that the ball takes off to the right no slice just goes right......i know its confusing but my real question is this how far should the ball be from either the tip of my shoes or the center of my feet how ever its measured.....

Nobody can answer that question for you. The answer is "the correct distance."

There are some drills to help you figure it out, like "take your stance, hold the club out in front of you, and let it fall to the ground. Where it hits, that's where it should be." But that's more of a guideline than a truth. I recommend you see a teaching professional.

yea just let your arms hang naturally, assuming you have good posture.

I would say as a rough guide the top hand of your grip should be about 5 - 7 inches away from your belt buckle.
