Well, I went into Golf Town today here in Calgary, Alberta and they had the Nickent ARC wedges on sale for $50.00 they had both the chrome and black model. I needed a new 60* so I was like "Come to pappa"... this wedge feels sweet and I cannot believe I bought it new for $50, I almost regret purchasing my Clevelands.

So yeah, anyone looking for new wedges... if you don't want to spend a fortune but want something nice.. go for the Nickent ARC wedges.. beautiful blade style wedges with A LOT to offer.

haha, I am... it's an addiction. My lady hates me for it sometimes though

I will post an "on course" review when I can... I played yesterday but it snowed again today

Oh i may go there and pick up a 60....

Yeah, so far... but all I have done with it is hit some chip shots and bounce the ball around on the face. They look very traditional from address, kind of like the callaway wedges. I won't be able to post a full review on performance until this snow goes away

Yeah, this is ridiculous. I was out last night down old banff coach road and took me 40mintues to get there and i live along the bow....

Seriously, how do you like the ARC wedges? I like the look and price, and I think they're marketed as a cavity-back feel with a blade appearance, and I could certainly use the forgiveness. Anyone else ever use these? Thanks for any updates, opinions...

Picked up a 52 degree gap wedge at the GolfTown in Kanata the other day. What a beauty. Makes me want to replace my 58 Vokey with another one.

      I am currently playing a Cobra Ltdx LS 9 degree driver and Cobra Ltdx LS FW3. Both with Tensei White stock stiff shafts and original weights of 12g (heel) and 3g (toe). My miss is usually a pull fade or sometimes a slice, swing is out to in. Driver swing speed about 112 mph. Grips are stock regular. Intended change: Driver: Switching to Tensei White x-flex one inch shorter which I suppose would be 44,5? Changing heel weight to 18g. Changing grip to Golf Pride Z-grip cord midsize. Change hosel setting to standard draw. FW3: Changing heel weight to 16g (apparently not available in FW weights, but supposed to be something called "internal weight" a club builder can add which fits between the weight and the screw?). Change grip to Golf Pride Z-grip cord midsize. Changing hosel setting to standard +1. The goal is to 1) get better grip since I tend so lose grip in warm and moist conditions with the current grips and 2) mitigate the misses to start more straight with less side spin. Also considering adding the Cobra Ltdx LS FW5 instead of my old Taylormade R9 and getting 14g heel and 6g toe weights with the same grip as the others and hosel setting standard +1.   All of the above is based on conversations with ChatGPT and, as everyone knows, it can come up with pretty much whatever but I spent a few hours asking about different perspectives etc and this was the recommendation. So, my question is basically, does it make any sense?   Thanks.
