i wqs teeing up with my back up driver (tm r7 460) that i had bought new a couple months ago for about 150$. so i hit the ball and the club head goes flying about 100 yards on the and bounces on the cart path for another 50 yards. so my new club looks like it just got ran over by a 24 wheeler but there are no major dents the club head has is very heavily chipped and scratched. i call taylormade and they say to tkae it to an otherized tm dealer which i do the folloeing day. the guy in charge of club repair calls taylormade and they tell him to mail it in they ask me for my specs and i am pretty happy thinking i will be getting a new club. i get a my club back from tm they fixed the broken shaft but they did not do anything about the cosmetics or lack there of. so now i am stuck here with probably the ugliest looking club i have ever seen.

I'm surprised. I am very happy with Callaway's customer service and would assume TM lives up to the same standards.

thats BS. the shop you purchased the driver at should take care of it on the spot with a brand new driver. I would call TM and complain. If they don't do anything, tell them they have lost you as a customer.

i did they keep opologizing and tellling me to send it to a club refinishing service which will cost me about 75$.

nope. they should take care of it for free.

Example: I sent my clubs to callaway for adjustment. They only did the lie and not grips or length. For my troubles, they built be a brand new set and i had it in 3 days.

I had the exact same thing happen with my Ping G10, and they did the same thing. I haven't contacted them back about not fixing the scuff, but my scuff doesn't look too bad I guess (it only hit the path once). They did replace the shaft with n/c other than the fact I had to pay $8 to ship it there. Should I contact them and try to get it fixed (it happened about a month ago)?

You may wish to contact the TaylorMade customer service reps directly. I am sure there is a telephone number listed on the TaylorMade websitefor that purpose. Politely explaining to one of them what happened may result in a better conclusion than the one you described. While I have never tried this advice, nor needed to with TaylorMade, I have had great success speaking with the customer service reps with Callaway and MacGregor. Politeness and clarity are paramount to success.

Additionally, more attention to spelling and punctuation would certainly be appreciated anywhere, especially here.

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
