Unfortunately, the stupid keeps seeping back in (also called "equipment rules")...

I really don't mind those - IMHO 460cc is rediculous enough

Personally, I think the MOI rules and the 460cc rule and the CoR rule are fine. They're sensible limits. I also think the ODS is a sensible limit, and I'm waiting for the USGA to introduce limits on how fast fairways can be. I propose the "SkiSlope" - a stimpmeter-like object that runs a ball down hill and measures how far it rolls on a flat section of fairway, named after me and, with a pun too.

But yeah, I think adjusting the "straddling the line" thing and the range finder thing, the two biggest rules changes I saw, makes sense.
