I enjoyed this video. Mansell is on the DP World Tour and it was a pleasure watching him strike the ball. He also talks Jimmy through some of his decision making process when Jimmy is in a tough spot.

Not particularly. Just an enjoyable golf match and fun to watch a tour pro swing a club and hit the ball compared to an amateur. 🙂 Some little things here and there I picked up from Richie but will be obvious to others (like you)

Continuing the theme of being old and grumpy, I like this style of YouTube golf much more than Good Good etc

      We played with two local guys who said they didn't really like the course either. Fun to play with them as they were smashing it 300 yds off the tee. We started out planning to go to AS, and on a future visit we will make it down there. Thanks for recommendation.

      Day 7,  Some indoor practice after getting the yard mowed and stabbing myself with a briar bush removal near my back fence.  Stop the swing at A3, right palm down to the ground at A6. Backswing length + downswing priority.

      From your description, you need to work on a consistent-ish club face at impact. Most practice swings have open faces and variable paths due to the conscious thought that goes into them, so you need to swing at a ball for us to help.

      thinking of experimenting with shorter shaft in driver. i know shortening the length will throw off swing weight and i will play with lead tape to see what changes i can make as i progress but my main question was about the shaft and stiffness.  i normally play a stiff so would it be beneficial to get an extra stiff 5-wood shaft to compensate for club head weight?
