Seems like everyone is coming out with a "torqueless putter".

How did anyone ever make any putts before this technology.

I putted with a Square to Square from Callaway earlier today. It's very easy to twist… on slightly off-center hits. The guy whose putter it was hit about 15 putts with it… and is returning it. (The plastic was still on it.)

As I mentioned I tried one of the Callaway Square to Square putters. It was fine. I preferred it to the LAB.

I tried several Odyssey Square to Square models yesterday. They all felt heavy to me except for the Good Good model. I loved that version! It felt most similar to my Lab DF 3 putter, and I preferred their thinner SuperStroke grip to mine. I align my putts with the face instead of a line, and the white/black Versa pattern is very easy to use.

I had hoped to test the LAB Oz version but nobody around here has them yet.

I am in the same boat, I'd love to test a LAB OZ but nobody here has them either and I've never seen one played on any courses I've been on. Nor can I afford/commit to blindly buy something at this price and not know how it works for me.
I've been playing a cheapy $60 Wilson Harmonized M1 for a long time and was looking at new putters but the price of a new putter is really off-putting. Thankfully I played in a tournament in November and ended up winning a brand new Taylormade TR B31. Will probably be playing this for a few years until I get to try something like the LAB OZ and once it's been discounted if I like it.

    • Thanks a million, those are some good suggestions. I will report back.
    • Day 23: 1/3/2025 Had a long range session yesterday. It was pretty cold out there. Today it was colder than a brass toilet seat in the Yukon. So, I decided not to go to the outdoor range today. I did put in some solid slo-motion practice in front of the mirror. One of the things I wanted to focus on was making sure my left rear sit-bone was going back away from the ball and not up away from the ball.  That was one of the things I picked up from the video I took of myself at the range yesterday. Today was mostly slow motion in front of the mirror with a focus on driving my lead leg to push the carpet toward the ball as I jump away from it.  Hitting through a 2 inch gate from 11 feet is impressive. I usually use my 2 inch gate at about 3 feet, no more.  Good job out of you.
    • Been frustrating last few sessions. Starting to struggle to see gains with the 195g Max Effort. I did go and hit balls at the range a couple days ago and the radar had my swing speed at 110mph which is definitely faster than when I begun (previous speed recorded at my driver fitting was 107-108mph). So I would say so far I comfortable gain of 2-3mph without trying to hit the ball hard. Hopefully will break through this barrier I seem to be at and start seeing some gains
