I listened to it today and I’m very proud of this one. Normally when I do something I am only critical of the things that I could have or should have done better and on this one I really didn’t have a list at all. I’m very pleased with how this interview went and the information shared and the way it was shared and everything.

Really good podcast interview. I love Mike’s accent from watching all the videos on Fit for Golf. My one critique would be for you to slow down your speech a bit. It’s not a problem for me because I’m from the Northeast where we talk fast. But other parts of the country talk slower and may have trouble following.

I felt like you were talking about me in the first section. Although I don’t think I was the 3.5” hip center guy in GEARS. 😜. I recall having a few ~2”. I practice this backswing feel a lot even without clubs.

The second part made sense to me, but adduction can be confusing the first time it is described. I like the focus being more on the right elbow not feeling like it’s changing in backswing. That part is easier to understand.

The weight shift section was good especially the force plate part. Feel ain’t real.

The hand path part was good. I felt like it applied to me as well from our GEARS sessions.

The Skill vs Technique section was also good. How to practice is very important and frankly one of the hardest things to learn. Learning how to swing slow is still hard for me.

The last part was excellent. Change is hard and can be uncomfortable. “Embrace Weird” 😉 Sounds like a new t-shirt.

Yeah, that's… not gonna happen. Not any time soon. 😉 I talk quickly.

And… a lot of podcast listeners listen on 1.5x or something. So, maybe they slow down the podcasts I'm on a little bit. 😄
