Are these course getting easier? are the players getting better? should we not worry about tournaments that used to produce single digit winners are now producing course records year after year. 

I am not talking roll back I am just curious why scores are so much lower than five to ten years ago.

I don't really care what the winning score is. The best players still generally bubble up to the top.

Also, second is three back. It's not like there are ten people within two shots of the lead.

Agreed - only 5 players better than -4. Not quite alarm bells are ringing time just yet.

The most important thing in my mind was Akshay responding all day Sunday. He was 2 over and five back at the turn and just get grinding. bridies galore and then on the fifth he bogeyed and on the sixth he played it far enough right that if he missed a little left it would be right by the hole. It was and he made the eagle. Stayed in it, kept playing great and kept getting pars. He very much deserved the win.

Now you may not agree with these but once you get the speed dialed, super fast, true rolling greens yield a lot more holed putts from 10-15 feet range = birdies. Also, the rough wasn't terribly penal.

On a separate note, it seemed Berger tried to cash in on his lead. Didn't play bad or anything but you could tell dude had already blown his load the first two days. And then Akshay stepped up. I mean the dart for the eagle was ridiculous. 

Fun watch in a long time.

      Day 77 - 2026-03-09 Hour of short game work at a mostly-new-to-me practice green. Trying to get some variability. Also some slow swings at the net later in the day focusing on backswing.

      Day 1 (9 Mar 26) - starting up again with a week layoff due to travels.  Played with the men’s group for the Monday shootout.  Was good to play, had some rust especially the long game, especially getting proper weight shift.

      Day 204 3-9 Wrist arch through downswing and getting wider with backswing. Need to continue working on getting trail arm "reconnected" as it still seems a bit off with wider backswing.
