I live in the UK, and it's very rare we play a medal format. We tend to find it quite unforgiving, one bad hole at the beginning of the round and your day could be over. We almost solely play Stableford, because for obvious reasons it is far more forgiving. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying one is right and one is wrong, I just find it odd that we enjoy different formats on either side of the pond

I can't get my playing partners to play anything but stroke play.  1 time we played foursome, foreball, and stroke play.  That was the last day.   They only want to play stroke play.

      Most gloves are white, and most grips are black. Just take a look at the palm of your glove after a few rounds, and you will see why cleaning your grips on a regular basis is a good idea. Can even make your glove last longer. Not just dirt, but a lot of the rubber compounds in the grip shed the black colorant over time, and ends up embedded in your glove.

      Foundation Session 4: I seemed to have a good (high swing speed) session today.  One thing was very different from prior and I am curious if that impacted it. All prior sessions were on grass.  Because of heavy rain last night I did not want to swing on my grass so I laid out my putting felt on my drive and stood on it for the session.  I had several “New Record Speed” with all weights. Q: Could being on a hard concrete surface instead of grass contributed to faster swings?
