Just got me a brand new set of Mizuno mx 19's and man do they look great,I have been hitting blades so I can not wait to hit these clubs and just see the difference that everyone has been talking about.Wish me luck.........

good or bad switch

That depends on how you were using the blades. To use an extreme example, if you work the ball as much as Tiger does, it'll be a bad switch. If your goal is to get the ball up in the air and moving towards your intended target, good switch.

I do not try to work the ball at all,just straight and accurate is what I am looking for and with a blade if you cant hit the sweet spot everytime well you know the story.I can use the blades OK but just looking to improve my score just like everyone else that plays this game

Which blades were you using? Some blades are more forgiving than others. Example being the MacGregor Foil Series.

I was playing with a set of older maxfli A10's,the miss hits were awful,short and right or left.I hope these new ones will give me little more of a sweet spot as well,seems like the A 10's maybe had a sweet spot about the size of a nickel or maybe a quarter and if you dont hit it there it will just about tear your glove tring to spin in your hand if your just a little off.By the way did I say how sweet these things look...............

Shindig I think you are right,but you know how it goes you just like to hear it from others.I have been debating on doing this for some time now so I cant wait to go play with them.Do you think my distance will be about the same,I know I should go to the range but...The weather is crap here anyway so I will let you guys know how it goes some time this week for sure.

yeah i'm sure you'll like them i love mine. i switched from Titleist 690.MB (they actually got stolen =/..) to Mizuno MP-57's and i love my mizunos. number 1 iron on the PGA tour for 9 straight yrs!

Yep, I felt the same way. I went to a ton of demo days to decide on my current set of irons, and fell in love with the Mizuno MP-57s almost immediately. But it really helped when I asked about it on this board and got told how great they were by other players

the great thing about mizuno is they make a club for everyone..mx 25's for higher handicapers, mx 19's for mid and mp 57's and 67's for the low. they make great stuff.

Yes, go to www.tourspecgolf.com . I believe they are distributed only through Asia. You can purchase them, of course, online. I'm just not good enough to justify paying $5 per ball.

      Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.

      As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
