GPS Caddies

I am interested in others experiences with currently available GPS Caddies. I have tied the Sky Caddie (Model 5) and although nice, it appears to lack the ability to add new marks to a hole, keep score or show the layout of the hole. I have also read about Sonocaddie (V300) that allows everything above that the Sky Caddie lacks. Since both have the course I primarily play, I am leaning to the Sonocaddie. Anyone thoughts on either these two products or others would be greatly appreciated.

The latest GPS unit that is all the buzz right now is the new GolfBuddy Pro. It has all most all the North American golf courses Pre-Loaded onto it and requires not monthly fee to download additional courses. I think you can plot additional markers (like the Sonocaddie) and the view of the green changes as your angle of approach changes. I have not played with it yet but when I do (later this week) I'll let you know.

Don't use GPS distance finders, use a real caddy...like me.

      After thinking about it for a few years, I've finally joined a local golf club.  My goal is to par every hole this year; I'll be tracking it in the spreadsheet.  I think it's definitely more interesting as a single course rather than a composite, so this should be fun!

      Nearly two years later...I haven't practiced once.  I've been playing a lot, and enjoying it, but just haven't really thought about working on my swing to actually get better until the past couple weeks.  Honestly, it's been inspired a little by "teaching" a couple brand-new golfers to play, and seeing (and helping) them try to get better. I've scheduled a lesson with @iacas in Erie...I'm planning on actually getting back in the habit of improvement.  We'll see how it goes.
