Hi guys, ive just ben on the pga tour website to look at the scores from todays at&t; classic...... before this and within the last few weeks i have noticed on the nationwide tour that franklin langham is pretty much at the bottom of each leaderboard with scores that i can shoot better than, his scoring average for the year is 79 and so far hes 22 over par after 17 holes today, this guy won last year on the nationwide, and ive seen him in one tournament before where he was -6 after 5 holes of a comp so ovbiously can play and IS a pro, i clicked on his name on some random touny and the stats came up and his driving accuracy is well bellow average, im talking like 20% if that, one round was measured at 7% fairways, does anyone know this problem? is he ill or injured of suffering from anything???? the first thing that came into mind was steven bowditch, he did the same thing but suffered from depression where he nearly commited suicide but his scores were no where near as bad as this......

i mean.... he opened up with a 13 on the par 5 10th today followed by double bogeys on 12, 18 and 6 as well as triples on 3 and 5. i feel for this guy because hes obviously trying to earn some cash for a living!

Oh wow he's at 90 and has not even finished his round yet. And lol at his 30% fairways hit. What is that just over 4/14. Do better Langham.

It looks like in 2005 he made some moneys, but since then he's been awful.

I wonder what happened to him. He took a 13 on a par five? He honestly looks like a 36 handicapper right now.

Wow I can't imagine how that guy feels! Knowing that everyone is talking about how bad he is...That must suck, it is probably making him worse. Sounds like he snowballed from one bad hole to another. He probably needs a really good mental coach!

this guy has challenge many pga tour players when he was on the pga tour, i mean he won last year on the nationwide so surely something bad has gone wrong recently..... maybe hes changed his driver or swing, maybe he should revert to his usual way, 22 over after 17 is unreal for his standard. steven bowditch suffered from depression and kept shooting scores of terrible standard the year after finishing 4th on the nationwide money list, he made something like 2 cuts in all his tournys on pga tour in 2006 or 2007 cant remember and included at least 4 withdrawals and 2 DQ's i feel for these guys at times, it must be so tough out there

    • Day 521 - 2026-03-06 Got some good work in for 15 minutes or so with someone overseeing. Downswing work.
    • Day 201 3-6 Wider backswing trying to blend it all together for a full swing. Not looking good yet.
    • Day 74 - 2026-03-06 Backswing work out back at the net. Slow.
    • Day 101: did a stack session. Worked on hands down in the mirror during breaks.
    • Got told off yesterday for doing full swings and full speed swings so went to the range this lunchtime and did some slow speed stuff and freezers. A few videos from my session.    First few are DTL then some FO This one is of me looking at the club on the way back. I think I get my arms lifting all the way back, not that you’d know because YouTube keeps glitching on me.    Second one is two slow backswings. This glitches the first one but the glitch looks like a pretty good position so I’ll live. Second one works. Then another swing back and hit. When I’m not watching or really focusing on it it seems that my upper arm doesn’t lift at first, rather stays roughly where it is and I add the lift at the end so the club comes a bit more inside. I think that’s what I’m going to focus on. This one glitches a bit too but it’s really just pausing. This shows the club coming a bit more inside but not as laid off at the top Then a couple of face on ones And lastly one smoothie and one freezer at normal speed  Quite happy with how this went. I can see my arms are better when I take it slower. Also while I’m still pitching my arms out it doesn’t seem to be as extreme as yesterday. Light at the end of the tunnel 🙂
