I am hoping to get as much rust as possible with my gunmetal macgregors

Why? Rust has no purpose. You don't see any PGA Tour pros with rusty clubs.

^Same here, I dont care if my clubs are blinging like some new 'dubs'. Kinda anti chrome myself.

You will see pros with rusty clubs but, when you do it's usually their wedges.

Im sure the finish doesnt last very long... maintainence on these types of things are always pretty intense
