Pro shop used bin - Did I do good?

I found a used Bob Vokey Titleist Spin Milled 60 degree wedge with 4 degrees of bounce in the used bin at the pro shop. (SM60.04) The face and grooves look like they are in great shape, but there are some scratches on the sole. It almost looks like some played a few shots from a very rocky lie.

However the club was marked down from $40 to $15 and had a brand new Lamkin grip. Did I do good?

I was excited to try a 60 with less bounce as it seems I have 4 or 5 shots a round from hardpan and you have to be precise with the current Cleveland CG12 60 with 10 degrees of bounce.

for 15 bucks can you really can't go wrong... I mean, you couldnt get a wedge at walmart for that cheap. Good find!

as for the marks on the sole, not a massive problem... but I cant really make any judgements with seeing any pictures

You did awesome! It sounds like the use you have for it is how it would get damaged in your upcoming use for it anyway , but instead of having to eat the cost, someone else ate it for you. Sweet!

Sounds like a great deal. I love the bargain bin at my local shop. I stop in once a week just to see what they have. I picked up a few nice wedges there for $5 each.

almost as good as the 54 degree spin milled I bought at the PGA Store for $45 and then sold on ebay for $70! It was in near perfect condition, but it was slightly used. No marks on the face or sole.
