The driver swing on the first video I am intentionally set up for a hook b/c there is tons of room on the left and OB all down the right.

That explains it then, thanks for pointing it out. For sure you looked to be set up for a strong draw or a hook with driver. I was thinking, can this be his normal set-up?

I would say that your tempo is a bit rushed, but you are keeping pretty good balance as indicated by a (usually) stable position at the finish. This is something I'm working on (fore/aft balance) - I too often don't like my balance at the end. I also see how your little pre-shot routine is helping to put you on a good plane, which you then maintain nicely. Your high finish is a good marker for that, and indicates a good follow-through of course. I rate your swing .... not at all bad!

Much better. Backswing appears a little flat to me, but it is hard to see without getting some frame captures. How's the ball flight been? Sounds like your contact is good and you appear to be in balance!

a new video with some adjustments made: attempted better posture and more relaxed.

What do you mean by

more relaxed ? I often hear people say that and then they get sloppy with their setup and swing(s). In many cases I think thinking about relaxing does golfers more harm than good. Looking at your swing your posture still looks a little loose and sloppy. (Your hips are set low, your knees are pitched forward (as is your chest), and your upper back looks rounded (near the shoulder area). I think you might find setting your hips high and pushed back slightly, along with less knee flex, and your shoulders stacked above your knees and balls of your feet may help you make a more efficient swing. Below are swing captures of you and Trevor Immelman from down line with an iron.

I would be interested in seeing a face on swing.  You have something weird through the ball where you chicken wing it pretty good it looks like from dtl.  Something going on there cause your follow through looks painful

I think he may be flipping, scooping, etc, not sure what the correct term is. You can tell in the video that the balls are picked clean with the exception of a few that he hit behind. Another clue is that pickers, flippers like to put the ball up on a plush hitting service and you will notice in the video he spends a lot of time in my opinion rolling the ball around. When you are hitting down you don't mentally need that fluff lie in my opinion.

I think cupped tin may be right. The part of the swing that is looking "off" is around contact and just after it. I can't tell without a head on view, but it does appear that you are scooping a bit and causing your left arm to chicken wing out...

That's just a guess though without seeing the other view.

    • Its way past time both tours  have  major  penalties for  slow  play. I  hate  it when they say" This group is  on the  clock". Big damn deal. Issue  penalties. Maybe Hull is a  bit too harsh but  its time a slew  of  2 stroke  penalties start  being  issued.     Charley Hull is fed up with slow play on the LPGA, so she offered a ‘ruthless’ solution “I’m quite ruthless, but I said, ‘Listen, if you get three bad timings, every time it’s a tee shot penalty; if you have three of them, you lose your Tour card instantly.’ I’m sure that would hurry a lot of people up, and they won’t want to lose their Tour card. That would kill the slow play, but they would never do that.” Who knows if that will work. But if it does not, maybe the PGA Tour should adopt Hull’s idea. The LPGA should, too, or at least assess penalty strokes for slow play. Five-hour rounds for a final group on Sunday is unacceptable and a quick way to lose interest and engagement from fans.

    • A hair under 190. It was pretty downhill, though, so I think we were playing between 180-185 to the pin. My 6 iron went 187 according to shot scope and ended up 18 feet away.
    • That's a tough pin on 14 at TR, had to make the hole play much longer, how far was that shot? I've only played that hole with a front pin.
    • No, but I spent (marginally) less time in the trees at Southern Pines, so it definitely played wider for me 😆. It definitely felt wider.
