Having trouble. Im down to the following. AP2, MP-60, S58. I come from MP-33. I dont care much for the MP-57s.

Love the look at feel of the titleist, the price is right that I'm getting. The wait time sucks. Love the MP-60 heads, the problem is that I can get them with Project X or Nippon 1150. The problem is the only demos around have s300 in them so I cant hit them to see how I like them.

S58 I only hit in zz-65 shaft, I like the feel of the club but hit the 6 iron almost as high as my current wedge. Again the only shaft option demos i can find are the awt and zz.

My big question is the performance of the Nippon and Project X shafts. I like the lighter weight of the Nippons. But have not had a chance to hit a ball with them. I have swung clubs with them but couldnt hit any balls at the time.

Since you know that you love the ap2s I think that you should buy them, and just suck it up and wait. Then you get the irons that you know you love.

Thanks for the sound advice. Its hard to pass up the 60s at the price. $450 practically brand new. AP2s are brand new and $86 per club. So a steal of a deal too. I guess I need to not worry about the cost and just get what I want no matter the wait. No use in getting something that I want, but its not what I really want.

Don't get irons you don't want to just because they'll come fast, or vice versa.

If you love the AP2's...get them! I know it will SUCK not having them for ____ days/weeks, but in the long run, you'll love yourself for making the decision.

I agree. I've done soemthing like that a couple of times and I have regreted the rest of the time just for not having picked what I really wanted.

But I would go for the Mizunos. They just look SO PRETTY (And I particularly don't like the look of the AP2s although I know I'm going to get hurt by people here who just love them lol) Cheers.

Yeah, the AP2's are worth the wait. One month is not that long for something that you want. I placed my order the first day they went on sale to the general public (early April)... While I was waiting, i took lessons to work on my swing to get the most out of my new clubs. The wait made the AP2s feel that much better when I finally got them.

I got the PX flighted, by the way. I loved the way they felt in my 755s, and I was not disappointed by the performance in the APs.
