I bought my Taylor Made in my bag for $32. I'm not good enough yet to feel a big difference between my putter and any other high end putter with an insert.

Its funny people don't have a problem droping $400 bills on a driver but some have trouble spending mula on a putter. I tried a ton of putters, would test them at the store, buy them, and field test them. I spent so much time picking the right putter, but I am OCD to the max!!! finally found a great putter, I feel comfortable putting and it shows when I put. It just so happens to be a Scotty!!! and I paid $250

Chances are if you find the right putter you will use if for years to come. People spend 300+ on drivers they use for 2-3 years and sell. I payed 300 for my SC and I have had it for 6 years now and don't plan on getting rid of it soon. As long as you like it and plan on keeping if for awhile I don't think its to much money.

My putter is the only thing in my bag that I paid full price for as well. Everything else was either on clearance, had a coupon, or on sale.

I paid $275 for a 5 year old used Scotty Cameron putter (Napa model), spent another $80 to get it refinished, can't quite get the nerve to put it into play!!

About $120 is the most ive ever paid for a putter. An odyssey XG #4 which i absolutley hated, and went back to my old hand me down anser 2 after a week. I use a $90 one now and my putting has never been better.
