You know, kinda the opposite of the way it normally goes ... as normally Titleist is on The Sand Trap (in the form of advertising), but here you go, they liked the Scotty Cameron Restoration article enough that they decided to reprint it: http://titleist.com/news/newsdetail.asp?id=285 .

The club will remain something I will look at only. I played it for one round, made a bunch of putts, cleaned it up, and put it right back on its shelf.

Aw that's a shame, it's like restoring a nice car just to have it sit in a garage. Go on take it for a spin every other weekend or something.

I try to play MOST every one of mine at LEAST once. If you are careful, and keep the ball clean, there's nothing to worry about. Especially with the Pro-plat finish...it's damn-near indestructible!
