Yeah, I've got a problem with my 3 wood, I'll be hitting it straight all day, I'll pull out my three wood off the deck and bang massive cuts, I'm talking big ones. I heard someone say it could be that the weight of my shaft is to heavy (Grafloy Prolaunch Blue). I'm 15 and I have the average swing speed for that age.

It has nothing to do with the weight of your shaft. You're just not making a similar swing to the one you give it off the tee. You're changing your swing, somehow, because the ball's sitting on the ground, not a tee.

Yup. You're probably trying to swing your hardest, making you swing with your arms which is making you swing out to in.

Does swinging with your arms really do this? My irons were really inconsistent in the weekend. Someone happened to take a picture of my swing and it was all arms. It wasn't just cuts and slices though...Try fat, hooks and pushes and a shank as well!

Are these all other symptoms of lots of arm movement and not enough upper body turn? P.S. Sorry to jump in on your thread....
