Lie: club tech ?

So if a club has say 2+ upright bend/lie, does this mean the face is sitting straighter towards the ball or laying more back than standard?
Hope this makes sense.
I got the 2* upright and they seem to be less lofted looking. Likley a mental thing.

2 degrees upright means the toe of the club is sitting up by two degrees compared to standard lie. Standard lie itself is different for different brands. The more upright the lie, the more the ball will draw. A flatter lie promotes a fade.

A lie correction does nothing to loft of the club.

      This is a great discussion. Other parts of the course where there are houses have white stakes and signs. This keeps people from trespassing and hitting shots on their property. There is another county road on the east side of the course that does not have white stakes like the hole I described. I checked the score card and there is nothing to indicate these roadways are OB.

      I wrote the post before leaders tee'd off today (3rd round) when Schef was still tied with Fitz at -10. Also, if you read further I also said 'one man' will most probably put the championship to sleep by end of today..😊. Yeah, not much drama left it seems. Scheffler with a hot putter is out right frustrating for the field. I will still watch tomorrow because the course is awesome and the play is pretty exciting in general. Players reaching deep to hang on.

      Yea, it seems clear that if it isn’t marked or set by the committee it’s in bounds. Now, should you go trespassing to hit a ball. 😉

      Bachelor of Science in Chemistry here. While my senior thesis was in Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry (Physics as it relates to atoms and molecules) was one of my favorite courses.
