How much of a difference is True Temper DG S300 and X100? What are the swing speeds recommend for both?

I imagine it's a lot more complicated than swing speed, but also launch angle and feel. Do you need a little more distance or a little more control? There are a lot of questions to ask, and "swing speed?" is far from the only (or even best) one.

I would assume that if someone wanted more distance they would choose the S300 because it would flex a tad more, while having more control with the x100 becase it doesn't flex as much. But as a golf I am looking for a good blance in between.

Again, this is just general question.
