The Adidas Tour 360 II's, in white/white/black. These are VERY comfortable, even before they are "worn" to my feet. Would highly recommend them. Anyway, was excited about getting them.....way better than my Nikes.

I was looking for a new pair a few months ago and did seriously look at various adidas options. In the end I bought a pair of Ecco hydromax. They have the best support of any of the 6 or 7 pairs of golf shoes I've had over the years.

Glad you like your new shoes. FWIW, I purchased a pair of discontinued, new, Footjoy Gel Fusion IIs fom TGW in January for $99 delivered. My point is that in the winter many shoe companies discontinue models that retailers then sell for a steep discount. This is a good way to buy if you can find your size among those shoes which are discounted in price.

My guess is that, with the state of our economy where it is, there will be a lot of bargains available from apparel manufacturers this fall and winter.

I tried on a bunch, Footjoys, other Adidas, Nike, Callaway.....and these just felt the best. They were the only ones that gave me a "sneaker" feel.....but kind of look like a cross between classic and sneaker.

make sure to wear them around the house... I had massive blisters the first time I took mine out (big mistake, now they fit like a glove... one of the best shoes Ive ever owned)

haha yeah man, they were the size of quarters... dont want to see anyone else go through that crap

bring an extra pair in your bag and switch out as soon as you feel any pinching / rubbing

Mine felt fine out of the box. Never had a break in period. Maybe that is why I love them so much.

A friend bought them off ebay for $140 brand new, he tried them on at home once, and they are too small for him, they fit me though.

AGGGGHH!!! Why do people affiliate golf shoes with sneakers!! They look nothing like sneakers when you think of it! I can't stand when something that has nothing to do with golf apparel is affiliated with really nice modern golf shoes. Makes me think im wearing sneakers on the course. Sneakers are shoes on the course which are normal running shoes with spikes on the bottom of them!

They should be called Modern

agreed... I dont think they look anything like sneakers, especially since Adidas makes a shoe which is essentially a sneaker with spikes

there is sneaker style and then there are actual sneakers

the 360's may not be a classic saddle but they are nothing like a sneaker

bought/tried the new 360's today. amazing shoes! Alot higher up than my old shoes because the spikes werent worn, was iffy about the insole at first because it was so thick but got used to it. Very comfortable and good looking.

I have a pair of those too CoolBreeze. The thing I like about em is that they will last you a long long time. I've had mine since my senior year of high school(1.5 years) and they still look and feel perfect, and I play a LOT of time on these shoes. Money well spent IMO.

      To flog this subject even further, if that's even possible, this article from Golf Monthly just appeared today in one of my news feeds. Written by a golf writer in the UK who I never heard of, he's basically saying that there should be only 3-5 rounds from the most recent 20 that should count towards the average and only competitive rounds should count. He claims the erratic scorers would have less of an advantage than they do now. He makes a lot of references to "club golfers" in the UK being the ones who are mostly dissatisfied. https://share.google/qmZZBEoJvOxHxJGil  In my experience with my league where we have golfers with indexes ranging from 5 to 40, looking at the weekly results from the past two years, I can detect no pattern that would substantiate the claim that the current system gives an unfair advantage to either erratic golfers (aren't we all?) or higher handicappers. Apparently though, at least in the UK, this seems to be "a thing."
