I

LOVE THESE CLUBS!! Another day of experience and it got better, my confidence with these are growing. These things are just fantastic. The perfect feel at impact. Today I hit a few just barely on the heel and just barely on the toe and they felt just as solid as a pure strike.

Between these and the AP2, which are more forgiving?

I think the main difference between the two is the look. The AP2 look more like the Hogan Apex blades I just gave up. Small, but a good small. These X Forged are slightly larger looking, but not to the point of too large. I'm all for a traditional look. And these give me that. I'd saw the AP2 has a little more crispier feel to them at impact.

Good choice Ben, at least some of us know real high quality instead of that Titleist or Mizuno crap.

Thanks. I've really been debating buying some iron covers again. They do look purty.

what irons did you have before ben.. shoulda bought those prototypes

Hogan blades. If I would have bought the X proto I wouldn't put them into play. Too much money to spend right now. Maybe if I win a few events...

I am growing to love these more and more each day. I totally chunked a 5 iron today on a par 3 and it went practically as far is a fairly well struck Hogan Apex 5 iron . (My old set) And when I hit them good, forget about it. I have no problem walking up to a shot from 170 and telling myself, "Yeah, 7 iron should do." It's unbelievable how much more confident I am with these in my bag. Now if I could only get my putting confidence back... If it ain't one thing, it's another. Golf...

Beautiful looking set. Trying to decide between those and the AP2s currently. I've hit both, and that hasn't made the decision any easier, both great clubs.
