Yeah, I missed a two footer to beat my dad in Match Play last weekend. He's a 5 handicap and I wasn't getting any strokes, it was going to be the first time I beat him...and I missed and we finished all square...I'm happy I didn't break my putter. I was very tempted to.

I used to be horrible.
Now I just accept the fact that I hit a lot of shitty shots.

Uh, to start off I have a terrible terrible temper. Family history of bad tempers, my dad was the gym teacher with a bad temper(also the golf coach, haha). Two brothers with bad tempers and a college volleyball playing sister that has gotten herself kicked out of the odd volleyball game. Well one point in hockey a player on my team who nobody liked managed to piss me off enough and made a pretty rude comment after i got speared and i threw a bomb at his face and have intentionally hit kids in baseball. Once in grade 7 after screwing up in highjump i javelined the bar but that was in practice and kind of a joke.

Well i've worked on toning it down and even when it was really bad when i was in jr.high and middle school(16 now) i never threw a club. But in the junior open this past week I had started off poorly(first tournament, I've only really started to play this year after being a decent golfer at 11 and 12, i took a few years off and started playing a bit more this year) and I qaudruple bogey'd the first hole, i hit a poor snap hook to the left, then toed one straight out of bounds onto the highway on the first hole. Well on the second hole after 4 putting I grabbed the ball and gave myself a running start and threw a 4 dimpler straight into the bush. And after that, I played so much better.

I played in my club championship this weekend and a player in my group on Sunday threw a wedge after 2 failed attempts to get our of a bunker. He threw it overhand like he was chopping wood. What he didn't realize was it was heading directly at our playing companion. 30+ feet traveled and I don't think it dropped an inch. I could hear it cutting the air before it left his hands. If it had struck the other player, I doubt it would have been shy of catastrophic.

He was very humble after the incodent, I was not amused...
