Are you allowed to carry more than one putter in your bag as long as you still have 14 clubs?

Yep. Sergio Garcia did it in a Tour event this year.

haha thanks guys. got a new putter and want to try it out but not be restricted to that one.

Why not, if you can carry two drivers in your bag in PGA competition like Phil did.

If you 2 putt every holes that is 36 strokes or half your score. It makes more sense for a golfer to carry two putters than 2 drivers if you ask me.

You might have a weighted putter for long lag putts and a two ball putter for within 3 feet putts for the alignment.

You might start a trend that start with the amateur golfer and catch on to the PGA tour, who knows.
