Just played a round with the Dt Rolls. Really like them! Think this is the one! I was getting good distance and my trajectory was a wee lower. Decent enough feel for me! I think I like the actual feel of the Juice better, but these go farther and lower for me. I was afraid they would be rock-like, but aren't.
Maybe all this goofy info will help someon else.
So...DT Rolls and ProV for serious times.

FYI

I have heard rumours of a new B330 ball as well, supposedly a tour calibre ball but suited to slower swing speeds for those of us who cant swing fast enough to compress the prov1's B330 platinums etc... anyone got any info on these? I heard B330RX or something like that.

Update: Just played a sleeve of DT rolls. I would stack them up against the carry in terms of short game, but my sleeve of carries magically disappeared....(my dad took them)

Possibly my new ball. I tend to get a bit of a fade or slice of the tee, but not on this day. I don't think i went O.B. once off of the team and i do that atleast twice per round.

The greens took me a bit to get used to. My wedges went really really high and still rolled. I was playing a wilson staff 50 before and i thought they rolled alot on the greens...boy was i wrong. These things really do roll .

I'm gonna grab a dozen DT rolls, bridgestone E6+, and wilson Zip's and decide from there.

    • Best drive I've ever hit: I will not be answering any questions about the rest of the hole. Or the round, for that matter.
    • I tried hybrids way back when TaylorMade introduced the copper orange Firesole Rescue, the clubhead having been made of titanium which was still relatively new even in drivers back then. I couldn't hit it well at all, and while the success of hybrids suggests that the modern ones must be quite good,  I'm perfectly happy with the 5, 7, and 9-woods.  Early ones of mine were Top Flite Intimidator 400s made by Spalding... and also made of titanium, now that I think of it.  I still have them in my basement. I do bag a driving iron, but it's a one-trick-pony that never sees fairway use.
    • The last time I played Maxfli balls, Dunlop was still making them. How long ago was that? Mostly, though, I used to play Top Flites (original 336 dimple model) when Spalding was still making them. Now I play the Pro V1x. Last time that I ordered some, Titleist was still making them. Let's see how long that lasts.
    • Once, on a course in Middleton, Massachusetts that I used to love but has since closed down,  I hit the wrong half of a huge, UK style double green.  Then I made the hundred foot putt.  Tough to  forget that one.
