Help Selecting Callaway 3 Wood

I was recently given a Callaway gift card. I am considering using it to purchase a new 3 wood. I don't hit the ball very far and need to use a fairway wood for my second shot on my most par 5s (and some par 4s). I have tried the X Fairway Wood at Golf Galaxy and liked it. Not sure if I should go with the X, X hot, or FT - or use the gift certificate for something different (see my bag below). I have already upgraded my putter (Odyssey) and irons (Mizuno), so 3 wood seems like the next club - but I could be convinced of some other Callaway product.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would say you need to upgrade your wedges. Try the Callaway X Forged line.

That was my other idea - an approach wedge or a lob wedge. Does Callaway make a good wedge?

Yes. As I said, check out the X Forged wedges. Those are some nice ones.

I would check out the Big Bertha 3 wood. Price is a bit cheaper and i have heard rather good things about that club. I am thinking about purchasing one for myself sometime.

that alignment line on the crown of the BB fairways puts me off though. Much prefer the look of the X series fairways

the x is a good fairway wood and it is not as expensive. I like the trajectory and shots i fire. depending on how much your gift card, you can get both wedge and a wood.
