Question w/ Vokeys and Groove Sharpener

I got a groove sharpener that cuts both U and V grooves so that I can sharpen my vokey spin milled grooves (bought them used - but in fantastic condition).

If I sharpen my Vokey's grooves after every round - will they continue to play like brand new??

Anyone know if you can cut U grooves into my old wedge with V grooves??

I've been using a groove sharpener on my vokeys for over two years and the wedges have held up really, really well. I have no plan on purchasing any new wedges for some time.

will they play brand new... no, but they help a lot

How long do you sharpen each wedge for at a time?

Sound groovy to me. Sorry, I couldn't help myself...... you guys are a cut above.

Have you tried hitting out of deep rough to see if it makes a difference with sharp grooved wedges?

you just run the sharpener once through each groove... when you're down turn the club down in and out of a light source and you'll see fresh scored grooves

I try and sharpen them up once a month or so... depending on how much I play
