Purchasing New Wedge And Putter.

I was thinking, and I just realized that I should start saving up for a new wedge and a new putter, since I just figured out that I hit them about 65% of the time. So I figured that if I were too buy clubs, they may as well be the ones I'll hit most often. Right now I have around $140. I'm hoping to spend around $100 total for the 2 clubs. Any suggestions?

Ebay. I recently bought a Titleist Bulls-Eye standard for about $30 and a Titleist Vokey 60* chrome for about $50.
Just make sure you buy from a seller with over 1,000 feedback and a rating of 99% or higher.

I've been reading up on the arc wedge by nickent. It sounds great, but no stores around here have nickent.

They have the absolute best deals I've EVER seen. I got two Vokey SM's, for $64.50 each in "Fine" condition, they are basically brand new.

The TM RAC Satin wedges are good, and so are the Nike SV Tours. I bet you could find em used in your price range. What degree wedge are you thinking about?

I was looking at a Sand Wedge or a Gap Wedge. So I'd say between 50 and 56.

Thats who I bought my irons from. I also bought my 3-wood from them and IMO, they are excellent to deal with.

Very helpfull, great prices and everyone Ive talked to who has dealt with them has said that they actually underrate the stuff they sell.

It looks like you already have a 54 degree wedge. Generally, you should try and keep enough separation between the lofts of your clubs. I think it's best if you get a 58 degree wedge.

Also, if you do get your wedge on eBay, make sure that you know about its condition. The grooves must be in good condition if the wedge is to be really beneficial for you.

I will say though, as a general rule of thumb, that when I buy wedges I never get used ones since they are one of the most personal and important clubs. If they have been used, then they become less effective tools (i.e. they can't impart enough backspin--without this, you lose a bit of drop-and-stop control on the green). But this, of course, depends on the condition of the club.
