Played a very good round today. 11 over on a par 67 course. Very easy course that I've been playing often. Played a fade/slice with my driver but most of the time worked out fine. A birdie on the front 9 and back 9.

On a downside had a few 3 putts. One of them coming on a par 3 that I hit the green. went from birdie chance to bogie.

On the upside, got on in 2 on the last hole which was a par 5 thats 533 yards. Hit and average drive or so I thought. Couldn't really tell since it was a little past 8 and the sun was almost gone. Crushed my second shot with the hybrid from the rough. Didn't find the ball on the fairway so I figured it lost and called it a day. As I was walking past the green I see a ball sitting on the front of the green. Lo and behold its MY BALL!! Missed the 200 foot eagle chance but made the birdie putt.

Lately I've been hitting freakishly long with my hybrid. Was hitting around 200 before but the distance has gone up definitely since I've never reached any par 5's in 2 until recently(last week).

P.S. If I putt from the fringe by the green, do you count it with your total putts?

Congrats, sounds like a great round, especially that birdie.

And, no, a putt only counts if it's taken on the green.
