Zero Restriction Rain Gear... worth it?

Looking for some outerwear options when I travel to Ireland for my first golf trip, unsure of the weather and just looking to prepare for that cold, rainy day that could ruin my day if I don't have the right gear

I've owned dryjoy products and they are water resistant at best, eventually you get wet and so the best option is a goretex product

zero restriction gear looks and feels great but at almost 400 a jacket and 200 for pants its pretty steep

anyone using ZR or another product that's cheaper

ZR is awesome, go on ebay and you can get it for about 75 a jacket some times if you are patient. Foot Joy is also very good rain gear as well.

I found some nice deals on tgw... ZR jacket and pants for 275

footjoy / dryjoys are a waste of money, you stay dry for about 30mins and then you're wet

they charge around 100 for pants, 150 for a jacket... I cant stand the stuff I have

I'm in the process of reviewing some Mizuno "Impermalite" (I think) rain gear. It's pretty darn nice so far - excellent repelling, easy movement, quiet, breathable. Looks pretty good too IMHO.

i have a ZR jacket, its awsome. Very comfortable, good looking, and extremely functional.

Its a great buy if your in the mood to put up the money for it.

I just ordered some gear from TGW... it was essential for me to get a jacket with removable sleeves

280 for the jacket and pant set... not bad considering what I saw today was 290 for the jacket, and 180 for the pants
