Hi everyboy, just found these boards a few days ago and must say I'm impressed. I go to school at University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and am currently trying to break 100, and getting closer (but not getting there!) every round.

I normally play at the University course, which has a Blue and Orange course, both 18 holes, with the Orange being substantially harder than the Blue. It's very very well priced for students: I think it's about 30$ to play 18 and ride on the weekend, less during the week. Also a grass driving range, practice green, putting green, and a nice pro shop.

Wow thats pretty nice for students. Do they have like an intermirals golf down there becuase theres no way I'm making the actual golf team.

That's something I haven't looked into. There must be a golf club, there really isn't an activity or sport you can find that doesn't have a club at U of I. It's ridiculous.
