I've talked to a couple of people who have "lost the pop" in their Superquad. I recently got one before I heard about this phenomenon. Have you or anyone else had this problem? What is causing it? I recently heard someone had a "stress fracture" in their shaft. Ideas? Also, has anyone other than me had a problem with "stripping" their moveable weights?

Thanks!

I found out from hitting different drivers the shaft is a little different. From what I have heard people get extra stiff shafts instead of stiff. I personally have never had this problem with my super..

I haven't had any issues with the shaft or the weights.

After hitting someone else's SQ with an Extra Stiff I have been looking at a possible re-shaft.

But no I have not had any issues in the past year.

Absolutely no problems with mine to date. Bought it in April/May and its used in 5 or 6 rounds a week so its getting a good testing.

I don't think would have gone with an X stiff shaft - I moved from a 905R with a stiff YS6 and agree the RE*AX stiff feels less boardy, but find it to be just spot on.

I hit the ball higher with the Superquad than with the 905R (both 9.5 degree) which is probably due to being on the 'more draw' setting - plan to change to the lower draw setting as an experiment to see if I can gain a few yds with the lower trajectory.
