so my driver from my new set of clubs has a dent on it. its on the toe of the club, but not on the face. kind of around the curve on the toe end. i have no idea on how it got there (i think my brother hit the wall with it or something.) will this affect my drives?

remove the shaft from the head (if its a nice shaft, you can always reuse it)

if its not a nice shaft, cut it off and use it as an allignment guide at the range

Use it as a decoration piece in your room.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a new driver. The R5 I'm currently using is going for really cheap on eBay. I know this because I was trying to sell it and realized I would not get much.

Wow, can a dent really have that big of an effect? Remind me never to let anyone touch my driver.

I'm a high handicapper so I figure I may not notice any effect of such a dent anyway. I suppose he could try to use the club as a trade-in towards his new club. Presumably he may not get as much for it, but you never know. Some golf stores may be able to refurbish it for resale.

You can buy drivers pretty cheap on Ebay. I recently bought a Titleist 975J for about $30.
Granted, its not the latest and the greatest driver their is, but for the price I paid, I cant complain.
Just make sure you buy from a reputable seller. I highly recommend 3Balls.

Get a picture of yourself throwing the driver into a water hazard and use that picture as your avatar.

Well if it was your brother who dented them, you could use the broken driver as a beating stick on him, or we could be more civil and just get a new driver and leave the old one alone. That sucks though, i got my driver (R7 Taylormade TP) on ebay brand new, and it came with extra weights and the tool and i won it for $200 the store is called thegolfhabit all one word. They sell strickly taylormade but great finishing prices of course there all bidding but ya mine was $170 before shipping and tax.
