The saddest part is that he was quoted many times about looking forward to retiring from comedy after turning 50. He will definitely be missed.

Whao that sucks! I loved Bernie Mac. He was great in the Ocean films and his Bernie Mac show on Fox was really entertaining. Rest in Peace.

i know it sounds stupid, but you see some of these people on tv and movies so much you feel like you get to know them. So I'm online last night and flipping through HBO and what comes on...Transformers and Bernie Mac's part was on. So sad. Anyone see him in that movie "Life" with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence?
