Hey right now I have a taylormade v steel with 18 degrees of loft. I can hit it off the tee fine but for some reason I have trouble hitting it off the deck. When I hit it, the trajectory is really low. Do you have any suggestions of fairway woods that hits off the deck with a higher trajectory? Thanks for your input.

1) compact swing and make solid contact
2) break your wrist on the take away
3) aim slightly left and open the club face
4) practice your swing with your wedges to make consistent solid contact

just my 2 cents

I agree...check your swing. V-Steel has to be one of easiest fairwaywoods to hit of all time. Other thought is that the golf shaft is too stiff for the golfer or that you might have to switch to a hybrid.

Try taking a slight divot, don't try to 'scoop' it or 'sweep' it...taking a small divot can help get the trajectory up and more solid contact.

that's what i came in to mention. off a tee..or even if its sitting up a bit in the fluffy rough...you want to sweep it a bit. However, if its a tight fairway lie...you need to pinch it slightly and take a little bit of a divot.

Try to figure where your swing bottoms-out. Perhaps you need to put the ball slightly back in your stance...more towards the middle-front....instead of off your front foot. Again...unlikely it is the club.
