I'm into coffee and buying good beans and all that other stuff that goes along with it. After researching numerous coffee forums (yes, there are believe it or not) many recommended the:

Presto Scandinavian Design Coffee Maker

bottom line was that it brewed the coffee the hottest (around 200F) which is absolutely necessary to extract the proper oils from the bean..yes, your Mr.Coffee machine is inferior equipment..

Well all was great for about 9 months..but suddenly the on/off button goes on the blink and won't turn on..just stays on auto..which is unacceptable..anyway, I bought it at Costco for around $40..if you're thinking about it..think twice..I'm back with my old my reliable Delonghi.

I use a Melitta filter. Ol' fashioned hot water over grounds in a paper filter but it works for me. I buy green beans and roast them to my liking. It's a little hassle but I couldn't drink another cup of crappy coffee again.

I think most machines are hit or miss. It comes down to a combo of your taste matching a particular brewer.

I've got the Cuisinart Grind & Brew. It's not the absolute best grinder or coffee maker but it's a helluva lot better than most out there. The feature I really love on it is the timer. I can load the beans and water the night before, set the alarm and it'll grind and brew the coffee for me to drink immediately when I wake!

I have a Cuisinart too. The big square silver one. It doesn't grind, and I don't like to drink coffee. At one point I did consider getting a Coke tap in my apartment...

The only good thing about coffee is it's smell.

Can't stand the stuff. The aftertaste is brutal.

Fairways and Greens.

you drink beer?

Not often...usually only with food. Coffee seems to linger in the mouth longer than beer...and the flavor of beer is

much better than coffee.

Usually you can get it in a bag.

Yeah, it comes in bags. It's just the syrup. Then it mixes with the carbonated stuff and bammo, Coke.

We almost did it in college. And I almost did again after college. At the rate I was drinking Coke, even with the expense of installation running ~ $800, it would have paid for itself within a year or so. That's pretty bad.

    • Day 234: Quick range session. Working on lower body stuff in the backswing. Looking slightly better, but going to need more work. I do think I lost a bit of my previous wrist stuff in the backswing while practicing, so something to keep an eye on.
    • First option, easily. ± 15 yards with an 8I is unacceptably poor. Every iron would basically overlap two other irons plus a little into the other one (max of one, min of the one two irons away).
    • I'd still take the first option. Knowing exactly how far your ball is going to carry every single time is huge.  Plus an average dispersion of 30yds isn't that big, that's still going to result in the overwhelming majority of your shots on the green.
    • Well, I kind of suck.  I meant it as 15 yards to the left or 15 yards to the right. ... Which would actually be a 30 yard dispersion. But I'm an idiot... so there's that.
    • The first choice, absolutely no doubt IMO.  A 15yd dispersion is PGA Tour level with a 7 iron. you mean to tell me I'm going to hit my number within 1-2 yds AND be like 8yds left or right at the most? Yeah I'm taking that every single time. There'd be almost no excuse to miss a green honestly.   A distance control of +- 10% is 40yds from 200yds out. That's not good.
