I bought the tour chrome, but I am getting oil can next time. I hate setting up for a 100 yard shot hoping to a good look for birdie with the setting sun blinding me by reflecting of my club. Tour Chrome is better at not reflecting then other chrome wedges but it will still blind you every now and then. I have started really digging the oil can look. Plus, they give you bag character. Either way you go it is a can't miss with a vokey spin milled.

I like mine because they look very non discreet in the bag, people almost perceive them as old POS wedges, then when you tuck all your wedge shots inside them they almost cant believe their eyes

I'd have to strongly agree with the sun in your eyes deal. I can't stand to have it shining in my eyes when i already have a hard enough time concentrating on my shot. Not to mention i'm a huge fan of the look, it was a solid buy for me. P.S: The spin is awsome !

Oil can. No question about it. I used to play chrome wedges but after playing raw wedges it's easy to understand the benefits from it over chrome. The sun is blinding without a raw finish and for someone like me that plays with an open face a lot having a raw finish is the only way to go. Besides, I dont like "pretty" clubs. LOL.

Chrome because its a more durable finish. Chrome wedges will wear at a slightly slower rate than raw or oilcan wedges.
Ive got a 56* Oilcan Vokey and I hate it. The club works great (even with rock-hard distance balls I get plenty of backspin), but its just so ugly. I mean, you pay $125 for a new wedge like that and it looks like you bought it at a yard sale. Not to mention the fact that even the slightest amount of moisture and they rust like crazy.
Ive also got a Vokey 60* in chrome and I dont have any problems with glare or with being blinded by light reflecting off the face.

I picked the tour chrome. They just look awesome.
The wedges coming out this fall will have another color I believe its called black nickel. They look beautiful also.

    • Day 29 (9 Dec 25) - PW dink and rolls as well as low flighted chips.  Dink and rolls - set up with club head toe down/heel up to promote low flight, plenty of roll out.  Low flighted pitches - club flat on the ground to get ball up a Rick more and check more.   No more than 10yds total distance - focus on getting the ball to finish near (within 10’ dia circle) the target “pin”…

    • Only ever used ShipSticks and never had a problem. It's really nice because you can ship to anywhere not just courses.  No matter what you use, I take the extra care of the clubs and wrap them in something before putting them in your bag and into the shipping box.
    • Practicing my putting after work. I put five balls on the carpet and a mug on the other side. Once I make 3 out of 5 I can stop. If I leave any short or they go to far and fall off the rug, I restart.  Focusing on speed and hitting my mark 3 inches in front of me. Trying to gain consistency and discipline in all aspects of my putting game.
