I like this site the most. Seem to be to the point, and completely honest and legitimate reviews from real golfers. One reason I no longer read magazine reviews, is because I went to a course that got #3 best re-done course in the United States from Golf Digest. It was the worst course I have ever played, and it cost $80 per person.

You should read Search for the Perfect Club by Tom Wishon and The Right Sticks. No matter what is reviewed may not work for your swing.

On some mags, depending upon the handicap of who is testing, you may see a hybrid reported to go 220 yards whereas the 3 wood goes 200 yards. So put little weight on 'feel', distance, forgiveness, and accuracy when they describe it. The putting data seems to be interesting in that heel and toe hits for certain putters makes a difference in distance. Hence the range of the TM Spider. However, I would hope most are not hitting the putter there unless intended.

You should take ALL golf review sites with a grain salt, as your actual mileage may vary (just too many variables per person for a pure apples-to-apples comaprison). A few others, in no particular order:

I don't recall ever seeing a long list, but if one was here, someone should re-post it.

I did delete about for posts all TALKING about some mythical long list because THOSE posts have nothing to do with the topic at hand.

FWIW, the only site I really look at for reviews is our own, and frankly, I rarely consider anyone else's reviews when I'm looking at equipment to play. Part of that is because nobody is anywhere near as thorough as our reviews. I test it and form my own opinions or, on rare occasions, trust someone else who might recommend something.

THIS post (the one I've quoted) was held in moderation, for example. Just an FYI. vBulletin added some limited spam-detection capabilities in version 3.6, I believe, or 3.7.
