Hey all,

I'm about to make my first golf clubs in about seven years and three of them will be hybrids (Snake Eyes Viper Tour Blacks). Lofts are 18, 21 and 24 degrees.

I'm a 5'11" golfer who prefers to be neutral to maybe a bit upright with my irons, but I have a very shallow, horizontal swing plane with my woods.

These things will have R-flex graphite shafts that come 45" long before cutting. What would you suggest cutting the lengths to for these clubs?

Thanks,
Jess

Depends on how much distance vs. control you want.

My 2iron hybrid is 40.5 inches long and seems to do OK for me and I'm 6'5.

That should give you some sort of idea.

Thanks. Would somewhere around 38 work for me, in your opinion, or do I need to go shorter?

Hey all,

I like to build hybrids at the same length of the clubs I'm replacing otherwise I end up with distance gaps
