Has anyone tried this set of tees. It looks like the "4 More Yards" golf tees but these are supposed to separate when hit.

It was $8 for 3 which was steep but being a curious gadget guy, I had to buy them. Unfortunately one of the ranges that I visited was closed from "Fay".

I love my Zero Friction tees but I am just trying to find tees that are durable and have a constant tee height.

I'd pass on those tees, don't look that great for use, prob flare out and bend like nothing. Not dissing them or anything just doesn't look like a good tee to me... maybes that's because im so satisfied with the zero friction tees lol.

Good luck with em and btw what's fay??? sry if that seems like a dumb question

Fay was the hurricane in Florida last week.

I think its really import for high handicappers to use a tee that is at a set height. Some of my friends are extremely bad and will tee it up at way different heights and it is just another variable not to have to worry about.

Fay is the former hurricane that I guess is still making rain down there.

I like to try out new tees, just to see how they work, but normally I use broken tees since I use a 3-wood to tee off with.

I used those a while ago- I think it was close to a year. I had gotten a golf ball box filled with tees, ball markers, etc. from a friend. I remember seeing this tee and thinking it looked unique so I'd try it. It worked fine, didn't break or anything, but as for added distance- I highly doubt it does anything. My swing (any almost everyone else's IMO) is no where near perfect enough to be able to measure a discernible distance change with any golf tee. And if I do remember correctly, it did kind of like pop open when I hit it.

Try it I guess, but I'll stick with my epoch tees that I have.

Yeah. The tees pop open.

Maybe if it's dry, I can try them.

I have been using one of these for the last 3 or so months, very strong and impossible to loose as the tee never leaves the ground, not sure about the extra distance claims it too hard to tell, also the extra long ones are the perfect height for my driver :)

These are the one's i use,one of them lasts me about 15 to 20 rounds, there plastic and height is set perfect,i get them from Ireland though, you can't get them here.Every time i pair up with someone i always give them one, they always ask about them so i say "here, have one"Our foursome all use them.

Here is a video of what it looks like. I found the video on You Tube. The guy sounds like the killer on "Silence of the Lambs".

    • Day 29 (9 Dec 25) - PW dink and rolls as well as low flighted chips.  Dink and rolls - set up with club head toe down/heel up to promote low flight, plenty of roll out.  Low flighted pitches - club flat on the ground to get ball up a Rick more and check more.   No more than 10yds total distance - focus on getting the ball to finish near (within 10’ dia circle) the target “pin”…
