hi,

Don't know and don't really care.

I stopped DVRing "The Turn" so I wouldn't have to see the wanker.

Early wrist cock and rotate the shoulders. He likes to set the club on the takeaway parallel to the target line which is great if you like getting under the swing plane and having a flat golf swing. A lot of his players tend to lay the club off at the top as well.

It's just his own little variation of the swing theory, as Richie has said.

I personally think David Leadbetter is overrated.

early wrist cock is what brought me to the site. i have encountered a wide variance even among top instructors as well as the best players in the world.there is not one way to swing the golf club and we all have differerent strengthsThe early wrist hinge with the left arm extended on the backswing has helped me with the club position at the top. it is more down the line now instead of across the line. also there is not a sense of my swing getting to long. i like the cock the wrists and your done thought. it has helped me shorten my swing.

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
