I hate the fathers who bring their kids to the range and then let their kids yell and shriek. Please, don't just teach them how to swing, teach them how to respect the other golfers. Anyway, I have a Sansa, not an iPod, but it does the trick!

Three weeks ago I had a barefoot guy screaming at his broker on his cell while yanking his driver all over the place; he'd put this guy on hold, hit a drive, yell "Go, baby!! Man, I killed it!" even when he'd hit the world's largest slice. Then he started talking to the guy next to me about whether he should loan his sister some money, and at that point I picked up and headed for the putting green. I'm not a total rules nazi, or against having fun, but it would be nice to have a "silence your cell phones and shut the f*&% up" sign at the range.
