Who cares which wears out first: get the chrome. And it's not chrome or satin - it's chrome or stainless. Again, get chrome.

From what I understand the chome offers way more feel and response. You'll like that. Plus chrom is pretty tough. I've got chrome 690.CB's and they're pretty tough.

thanks guys! here's another question for you...do you think the price on the Titleist 735cm's will go down in the next couple of months. we all know that the new 2006 models are coming out? at the moment, the lowest i've seen the chrome ones go for is $650.00. i can't wait any longer..but if theres a big price difference, then i guess i'll just have to wait a little longer.

The price isn't going anywhere. The 775, 660, and 695 are all replacing vastly different product lines than the 735.
