couple more questions


1) is there a need for me to test this on a dummy putter? or am i just wasting paint?

2) could i do this on my SV tour wedge or my new VR wedges (which are shipping soon)

couple more questions

(1) if it will make you feel more comfortable on the Scotty, go ahead and do a practice club. But it's not really necessary. I promise, after you do it, you won't believe that you ever worried about it.

(2) Yes. The only club I would worry about is one with some sort of "finish" on it, where the paint thinner/acetone might damage the finish. But anything steel is safe.

I was thinking more along the lines of paint thinner on a black oxide or the Circa 62's charcoal mist finish.

Not sure what would happen with those. Probably nothing, but I would hate to say it was safe and then have someone find out it's not.

you would never need paint thinner... acetone works fine on the enamel paint

even though it is an oil based, I believe, its just a model grade paint so its not stubborn in any way
