so it will get stiffer if I cut the shaft to 45? I think I will try it on 46 inch Im tall guy anyways Im 6'0" so 46 should be fine for me!

Tipping it, trimming it from the tip will make it play stiffer, trimming it from the "Butt/grip" end from 46" to 45" should not change the characteristics in a way that would be noticeable. A lot of people are using 46" shafts to get some extra yardage but with this you give up some control and accuracy.

Well I care more for control and acurassy than more yardage. I already hit it long like 270 or 280 thats enought for me! So if I trimmed from the but it wont get stiffer? or just make it a little more stiffer? As long as it doesn't get like x-stiff or something ¬¬ Im fine!

      New Maxfli Forged Irons - $800!

      I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
