the only way I would spend two grand on a putter would be for a fully custom session in the bettinardi studio (studioB) for a flatstick made exactly for my stroke, height, weight preference, lie angle, ect etc

golf is MASSIVE in Japan!

it also happens to be an extreme elite game, green fees, equipment, etc etc... everything is through the roof

Ummm, and people say Scotty's are expensive. You could get a nice Bettinardi or Scotty custom made AND still have money to get a full year public links membership for 2000 dollars. Forget that.

good luck getting a custom scotty, its just not going to happen.

a custom would include a full fitting, maybe a custom neck weld, metal selection, finish selection, handstamps

I'd have newport II, a naked sole, sound slot, weight on bumper, SCAM w/ a circle T in the cavity with snow
355 grams, aggressive milled face, 33.5inches, tour weight shaft, copper billet construction, TEI3 insert

by custom I mean you could have any model done at the Custom Shop. Not like hand built custom, but you know what I mean.

haha oh yeah... just pick up a beat to shit cameron on ebay, one where someone never used the headcover and just send it back, couple hundred bucks and you have a brand new putter

personally I think the scotty custom shop is a joke, thats just me though

there are better resources out there and in many cases somewhat cheaper

Unfourtunately there are none on ebay, and i am deffineately not shelling out $2000 for a new one
