the limited edition irons were from nike.. they cost here in germany 3.500 euros.. the driver shaft is a Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana 83 gram extra stiff reg price 550 euros.. I have sold one all year..

What is really remarkable is how the Nike golf equipment brand has grown, thanks to Tiger. When he joined the PGA, I believe the only Nike was the shoes and apparel. Then he started using a Nike ball, which was followed by a driver, then irons, then fairways woods, then wedges (I think that was the progression - correct me if someone knows the correct order). Tiger has really put Nike golf equipment on the map! For Nike, he's worth every penny of the $20 million/year....

I think it went irons, driver, wedges, fairway woods. But I could have the wedges/driver backwards, and I'm not entirely sure where the ball fits in.

His putter will likely always, always remain a Scotty Cameron (with a Ping grip blacked out).

Im wondering why he blacks out the Ping on the grip....

Probably in his contract w/ Nike that no competing manufacturers' logos be visible.

His Cameron has visible markings of other manufacturers. And from what I've head, Tiger's contract is pretty loose - which is why he could take his time getting around to playing with Nike irons, woods, wedges, etc.

      Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
