Pretty self explanatory. Launch monitors tell me I launch it around 8-10 degrees most of the time, with around 3500 spin rate. I suppose this makes sense, as my typical drive starts low and rises, landing pretty soft. I've been told with a higher launch and lower spin I could get more distance.

Two things:
1. What are "ideal" launch conditions to maximize distance?
2. Should a guy tweak his equipment or his swing to try to achieve these conditions?

Cleveland Hi-bore 9.5* stiff, Taylormade Burner T3 14.5* stiff, Mizuno mp 32 3-PW, Nike SV Tour Black Satin 52, 56, 60* wedges, Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2 35 inches
In the market for a new driver, then my bag will be the shiz.

Ideal launch conditions are based on pure physics I think. There are several charts and graphs based on solid research that will give you the exact specs you are looking for. Most of that is based on your clubhead and ball speed. Someone else on here will certainly give you some specs, especially if you know and can post those speeds.

At a 2 handicap your swing is more than solid and shouldn't be tweaked. I'd look to tweaking your equipment first. That's good news! It's just a matter of a little time on the launch monitor and/or range and a little cash. Good luck!

It really depends on your swing speed. Commonly accepted numbers work out around ->

120 mph 12 degrees and 2,200 rpm
100 mph 13 degrees and 2,400 rpm
80 mph 14 degrees and 2,600-3000 rpm
