I'm 14 years old, trying out for my high school golf team. Well, today at the driving range I hit about 100-150 each time with my driver. Is that good for girls golf? I hit it straight most of the time too. You may think that is very short, but I guess that is good for me? I'm only 5'0 tall, and 85 lbs. So yeah. Any more ways to get power? If I need any power that is.

Just keep it straight.

    • With the hot weather……I’ll take a Gatorade please.
    • 60 minutes on the local school playing fields, trying to discover my former grip,I found it and used a lob wedge with which I was able to group 3 balls pretty near together, very happy to have found my old grip and its give me a lot more confidence so I can go have a round of golf with my brother and his step sons,I have not stepped on a course for 20 years, still I can hit my old yardages and that's great as I'm now 62...everybody have a great day
    • I have this issue as well. I play in a bi-weekly league and I generally work on my drills and feels as I'm playing in the league...lol. But to be honest, they really do not affect me in a bad way too much. If anything, my irons are actually more crisp.  The issue comes in when I transition to the woods....so I try to find a happy medium there for the time being. But as far as bad shots go, they are no worse than they were before worrying about drills and what not.  Just speaking for my experience, obviously.
    • Another good episode. I below its a skill to be able to find a functional swing between where you were and where you want to be. I am guilty of trying to do too much on the course instead of just playing.  The goal is to play golf better. Not turn a round of golf into a practice session.
    • SUMMER HAS ARRIVED!!! Just in time for this golf outing.
